Search Dog Network’s mission is to Train, Certify, and Deploy professional Canine Search Teams to locate missing persons. Members of Search Dog Network come from a variety of personal and professional backgrounds. However, all work towards the common goal of fielding a professional search team.

Our dogs are certified by the International Police Work Dog Association (IPWDA) or by the National Association for Search and Rescue (NASAR).

Our humans are certified by NASAR, and must meet certain standards before being deployable. In addition to team attendance requirements, we must also pass the Texas/USDA Forest Service “Moderate” Work Capacity Test.
