Clare Wigginton

Clare, with two other VFD members

Clare has been a member of our team since 2022. She has two canines in training: Chief, a Labrador for HRD; and Halligan a GSD for tracking / trailing. Clare’s day job is with a veterinarian; she is also a member of a volunteer fire department and was previous with a mounted SAR team. She has participated in citizens police academies, then CERT, and a citizens fire academy.

Clare has always been interested in canine tracking and trailing, but until this GSD, never had a right fit canine for it. She recognized Halligan’s love for tracking all things on our walks around the property, and decided to reach out to this group and see where this journey takes me.
